The Arabic High School Program will take place from June 9, 2024 to June 22, 2024.
**THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS FOR FACE-TO-FACE INSTITUTE FOR SUMMER 2024**
Total Program Cost
- Residential Student – $2400 and includes tuition, program fees, activities fees, materials, room and board, and meals.
- Commuter Student – $1200 and includes tuition, program fees, activities fees, and materials. This rate does not include housing or meals. Meals can be purchased separately by the student a the dining hall.
Non-refundable application fee: $25 due at time of application.
Non-refundable program deposit: $250 due by April 16th, 2023.
The remaining balance for the program must be paid by May 28th, 2023.
Travel Information
ALL students (Residential and Commuter) will be having a welcome dinner and pre-orientation on Sunday, June 9th at 5:00 pm. This will take place in the Illinois Street Dining Hall. The address is 1010 W. Illinois, Urbana.
For Residential student, please arrive to campus between 12PM and 3PM. You will check in at Illinois Street Residence (1012 W. Illinois St.
Urbana, IL 61801) between 12PM and 3PM.
If you plan to fly to campus, we recommend a flight to Willard Airport CMI (aka University of Illinois Willard Airport) that arrives between 12 PM and 3 PM.
Our access to the dorm building ends on Saturday, June 22th at 12 PM, so students must leave campus before then.
You may also arrange a flight to a Chicago airport (either Midway or O'Hare), and take a bus to campus using Peoria Charter (https://peoriacharter.com/) or Illini Shuttle (http://www.illinishuttle.com/). These buses run routes from the airports directly to the University of Illinois campus.
The closest bus stops to the Hopkins Residence Hall are "Ikenberry" for Peoria Charter, and "U of I Armory Building" for Illini Shuttle.
Pickup and drop off can also be arranged from the Champaign-Urbana airport to the residence hall via local taxi services. Local taxi services in the area are:
